Vivarium is a collective of like-minded engineers and artists pursuing self-directed work in the pursuit of mutual good.

Established in the summer of 2025, Vivarium began as a small cadre of friends who had met each other in San Francisco. Each of us — drop-outs, students, engineers — felt united by self-motivation and a desire to engender impact beyond ourselves.

Our community has recently moved from private to semi-public. As we continue to open our doors, we ask for nothing in the way of formalities — only for you to act with respect. This is our home; it is built of pure hearts and honesty, and it can only be preserved by your confidence.
